So if your original battery was thinner, you can still put this battery in and use it but you won't be able to close the battery door the same way if your original battery was the thinner one."

"Battery is slightly thicker than the battery it is replacing. With some force, I was able to replace the older battery, but the cover does not completely cover the opening due to the thickness of the new battery. Concerned that moisture may be an issue. However that said I have used the battery in my golf GPS one time and it seems to work."
