"We live in Hawaii and couldn't order batteries for our Roomba. Apparently there is an issue with shipping lithium batteries by airfreight, which most websites use. The we found BatteryShip and it was realy easy to get them delivered. The battery came reasonably fast by boat. The price was also very good. We will buy from them again."

"Battery overheats and does not charge fully. It happens occasionally. Remove from charger and allow the unit to cool over several hours, and then, replace on charger. Message "Charging error" may appear."

"I robot does not seem to accept this battery. However, I have found that by cleaning and slightly damping the contacts it does charge and does Ron the iRobot 985."

Hawaii residents get your lithium batteries here

"Can’t find battery replacements on island and most companies won’t ship lithium batteries in the mail. Thank goodness I found this company. Takes longer but at least I can get Roomba batteries."
BatteryShip’s Response: "Mary, thanks for your feedback. Glad we got your vac back working again. The post office takes lithium batteries to the islands from the mainland by boat as they are considered hazardous materials during shipping. So, as you found, it can take longer. Your shipment took 18 days (most of those days were spent on the boat). We've seen some take only 12 days, and some take 30 days. Just depends on how busy the post office is and also since they stop in Honolulu on Oahu before going to any other island, Oahu addresses are quicker than Kaui for example. The only other option is to pay UPS or FedEx to air ship a hazardous material shipment to the islands. The fees those carriers charge for air shipping to Hawaii PLUS the HAZMAT fees take the ship cost alone close to $100 easy. So the way we do it (currently only $5) makes it very affordable for everyone."

"The performance of Roomba didn't drastically improve as I thought it would, maybe only adding 25 minutes to runtime. But what was most concerning since the battery was installed was 2 times, randomly, I received a message that my battery was not compatible with my Roomba. When that happened, I took Roomba off the charger and just left it. When it was time to run, it still performed as expected, so not sure why the messages. Hasn't done it lately."

"I've only had the new battery for a couple months and it will not receive and hold a charge. I'm very disappointed. I intend to contact Batteryship for another battery as this one is worthless."
BatteryShip’s Response: "William, thanks for your feedback. Based on our discussion, you have no other battery to double check that your robot and charging station are in proper working order. You also could not confirm if you were storing/charging it correctly per the manual nor could you confirm the error message that you were getting on the robot. Therefore, you do not know whether the problem is battery related or not. Batteries don't fix broken robots. Still we gave you a 1 time courtesy refund even though the problem has not been confirmed as to whether it is a battery problem at all."
