I am unable to judge the battery, because it turns out that the gps itself has a bad contact that I will have to repair before the battery can be used. It is possible that my old battery was good, and it is likely that the one I ordered is also. So best case, I will have two serviceable batteries. The rating of 3 stars is intended to reflect a neutral rating, in that I can't yet say whether it is great or doa."
